Unfortunately, the situation concerning rolling stock, especially at SBB cargo, has become confusing due to short-term adaptation of the locomotive stock to demand. Sales of new locomotives, rental and leasing are now part of the daily business.
We have therefore decided to focus on our core task, the maintenance and recording of our photo archive stock within the framework of Bahnarchiv.ch.
For SBB, many figures are available at Reporting SBB rolling stock.
However, we are happy to refer you to the Swiss Rolling Stock Register Association (Verein Rollmaterialverzeichnis Schweiz) VRS, which is dedicated to this task, except to SBB.
