Open Day at Bellinzona Main Workshop

On 27 October 1974, the main workshop at Bellinzona held an open day. In this railway history we show some pictures from this event.

The Be 4/6 12320 is standing in the garden of the main workshop Bellinzona. A short time later, the sister locomotive 12323 was discarded and served as a spare parts donor for the refurbishment of 12320 to a historic locomotive. The Be 4/6 12320 left the Bellinzona works in mid 1975 in a brown livery. October 27 1974 Photo: Edi Meier, Bülach
