Between 1976 and 1979, Montreux Oberland Bahnen purchased four two-car commuter trains (5001 to 5004) with control cars (5301 to 5304) for regional trains around Zweisimmen and suburban transport in Montreux.
They were used on all sections of the line, sometimes with a middle carriage. The picture shows one of the trains entering Montreux station.
